ABOUT
I undertake commissions for murals and illustrations and also exhibit large scale watercolour paintings. I have been commissioned for numerous murals over the past 5 - 10 years, and enjoyed transforming children's bedrooms/ nurseries, living rooms, etc in houses and businesses from Knutsford to Blackpool, Bedfordshire, Cornwall, Worcester, London etc. and also receive commissions for book and magazine illustrations.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
(B.A (Hons) Fine Art at Staffordshire University, and M.A Illustration: Authorial Practice, at Falmouth College of Arts. After having worked in very differing environments, the quietness of the studio is now very conducive to the creation of work, yet it sometimes lacks the 'life' that can drive me to create more fresh or dynamic work. I look more and more to creating an essential feeling of aliveness and freshness to my own paintings, though I am very open to clients' suggestions when being commissioned. I also create wordless narratives that have been sold in book form.
