ABOUT Abby Filer is a contemporary fashion, jewellery designer – maker, working in silver, enamels, and printed aluminium to create fresh, feminine and colourful pieces of jewellery. Abby aims to create jewellery that is unique enough to be eye catching, but also suitable to be worn more casually day to day. The inspiration for all 3 of her jewellery ranges, come from her life growing up in the countryside of Summerseat surrounded by an array of brightly coloured flowers, night skies filled with glittering stars and interestingly shaped chains in farm machinery. All combined with her love of the bold and colourful 1960s psychedelic design era. Abby graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in July 2006, and now runs her business, Abby Filer Jewellery from her studio in Manchester.
