2007
Design Initiative and Inner City Living collaborated to present Make Me 2007. The events took place in Manchester and Preston city centres, from November 22nd – December 24th 2007 and provided a variety of exciting ways to see and buy new, innovative work including jewellery, accessories, interiors, homewares, ceramics, textiles, furniture, gifts and art, direct from the makers in time for Christmas. Inner-city-Living was established in 2004 to provide a showcase platform to promote the region's creative industries. Since its beginnings it has developed into a not for profit (NFP) organisation working with a variety of partners on creative projects that aim to aid the creative development of regional designers and manufacture.
