Textile artist Alice Kettle has her work featured in many international collections and has established herself as one of the UK’s foremost artists in her field. Her stitched works exploit the textures and effects made possible through the use of specialist mechanical processes.

The forthcoming BBC development at MediaCityUK, Salford comes to Waterside Arts Centre – you can meet the people who will make it tick, discuss what will really go on there, how you can get involved, where there are opportunities and which myths needs dispelling.

There will be panel discussions, questions and answers and a chance to get up close and personal with the individuals who are driving forward MediaCityUK.
